Bassinets

A bassinet allows you and your baby to be close to one another for the first few important months. Your child will have some years to a crib but the first months of infancy will require your closest attention with feeding and for your baby to feel comfortable enough to get all the sleep they need. After all your baby may feel that a crib is too big for them, while a bassinet will be more cozy for their small size.  The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) also recommends sharing a room (not a bed) with your baby for their first 6 months.
